Early this year I developed an interest into buying a Mac and while wandering around I found out that it's ridiculously easy to build a hackintosh aorund my laptop so I thought "That would be the perfect way to finally make up my mind whether to buy it or not!" I was excited since it was going to be my first close encounter with OS X. Getting through a few hardware issues something (I got used to in my early *nix days) I got OS X installed and after a couple of hours of playing with it I had only one clear thought in my mind "No thanks, I'm sticking to my *nix machines with KDE 3.5" and off goes Apple from my machine.
